Anastasia Goloborodko

Anastasia is a young woman native to Ithaca, New York. She was born with a rare genetic disorder that has impacted her abilities in various areas of development.

After finishing Lansing High School in 2017, Anastasia's family, with support of New York State self-directed services for people with disabilities, has developed a program for Anastasia's engagement in community activities. One of the activities Anastasia has been involved in for the past three years is sculpture and wheel program offered through Ithaca Clay School. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, Anastasia has been volunteering at the Mary Durham Boutique in Ithaca.

Anastasia enjoys interacting with her peers with support of Ithaca College I-Create and Cornell Big Buddies programs, riding her tricycle in Cass park, hiking at Cornell Botanic Gardens and drawing.
